more drabbles

aimeeliciousOkay, here are the other two, for your reading pleasure. Yay, I got them all done in one day, it's a miracle!
for entrenous88, who requested Oz/Xander, late-night pancakes, minor chords
Sipping on black coffee, Oz watched Xander pack away pancakes at the all-night diner. It never ceased to amaze him how much his boyfriend could eat. Good thing the Dingoes got paid for their last gig, otherwise Xander might not eat at all. Fucking Harris'. If he looked hard enough, he thought he could see the faint remnants of a bruise, high on Xander's cheek and it made his normally quiet heart pound. Between the starving and the hitting, tomorrow wouldn't be too soon to get him out of there.
Xander stopped eating and looked at him quizzically. "Something wrong?" he asked, his movements suddenly jerky with embarrassment as he pushed away the plate of unfinished pancakes. "I'm sorry Oz, I know I eat too much but I skipped lunch today."
Oz knew it – probably didn't have the money and Xander's pathetic excuse for a mom sure never made him anything. "Xander, nothing's wrong," he said, gentling his voice and easing the words with a rare smile. "Go ahead and finish."
With clinking dishes and the minor chords of a vaguely familiar pop tune in the background, Oz watched in satisfaction as Xander continued to eat, and silently plotted their departure from Sunnydale.
for tabaqui, who requested Spike/Oz enjoying being not human and licorice whips
Oz rolled over on his back, breathing heavily and enjoying the feel of Spike's cool skin pressed up against his side.
"S'fucking fantastic, that's what this is," Spike mumbled into his shoulder, and Oz could only nod in agreement and hope Spike felt the movement. Words were beyond him right now, more so than usual.
Since they'd started having sex, it just kept getting better. Being free to let out his strength, knowing Spike could take it, *wanted* to take it, was amazing. And so was getting it back. There was only deceptive fragility in that pale body, in reality they were equals, wolf and vampire, and each time they came together, literally and figuratively, it was more powerful.
He murmured a protest as Spike pulled away, and was reassured immediately.
"Just gettin' somethin' from the dresser, pet, be right back."
The bed dipped, Spike returning as quickly as he'd left. Oz was happy to drift in a post-coital haze, except the smell of candy intruded, and he turned to see Spike eating red licorice, licking the end of each whip and then slowly sucking it down. He only managed to watch three disappear into that sweet mouth before he pounced.
