I was just profoundly moved, to see a black man accepting the nomination, and then giving a speech that was personal but sweeping in its scope, and hopeful. That's what all of this comes back to for me. My cynicism is blinking at the blossom of hope that's unfolded in my heart. Sounds cheesy, but I mean it.
