Dude! I'm gonna cry! This was just lovely. I love that he wants to walk away, doesn't feel like he belongs there, but that it's hard to leave family.

I love that we find out Susan has pictures of him in the house and that Paddy knows who he is.

I love that Paddy notices his blue hair. *g* And the enthusiasm against all odds is just so sweet.

With that love also came fear. His life was a mess, dangerous and transitory. Not fit for a parent. But Susan...Susan had trusted him, knowing that.
Love this. Just love it. The hint of the danger there, especially given what we've seen in the main story. Nice connection there.
