Oh, it was nice! I think you captured something about both of the characters, particularly about the potential for fear that they both have around one another. I also like the way that Lex's fear could have been fear of Clark, but it also could have been fear on Clark's behalf.

Not entirely sure if this is canon related -- as you know, I'm not at all caught up and haven't been watching this season (plan to on DVD) so this may have spoilers, but if it does, I have no idea! **remains blissfully unspoiled**
